Individual Sessions
The depth of her sensitivity to who she is working with combined with her interesting perceptive skills, great intuition and holistic knowledge about the body system provide a wonderful, gentle and subtle springboard from which after working with her healing can continue following its natural course.

Group Sessions
A master class of coherence and courage in which the pedagogy, evolution structure of material, use of language, somatic demonstration, and creativity were outstanding.
Miranda Tufnell Dance artist, writer and teacher Author of Body Space Image and A Widening Field The workshop was a liberating and enjoyable experience and I particularly appreciated the seamless and fluid way we were guided through individual and group work. Eileen Armstrong BA, BHSc, MSTAT The workshop resulted in more freedom in movement than I normally experience when dancing. Thanks for a fun time! Dr Miriam Wohl Thank you for a lovely workshop. I enjoyed your calm presence. You guided us very smoothly and it was great to see how we changed and found our space, freedom and confidence. I Machover (head of training at the Alexander Technique School, Medau Movement teacher) I really enjoyed your workshop. So lovely to move with such creativity. Mary Greene Although I’ve never done this kind of creative, spontaneous movement before, I found it easy to get into and very freeing and enjoyable. Korina led the session in a very clear but gentle, affirming way which I think helped everyone to participate fully. The choice of music was excellent and the mix of moving on our own / with others, with music or without worked really well. Some parts of the afternoon I found enjoyable and relaxing, and others profoundly moving as letting go from the mind and allowing the body to ‘speak’ was a really powerful experience. Janet Ormerod |
Soma in the City Sessions
Through the experience of 'Soma in the City', I found myself seeing, moving, receiving the city in a very different way. I found myself seeing beauty everywhere. I was blown away by this and also found myself noticing the way I protect and open myself in the environment. I felt liberated to move as I chose and stop and take in the tiniest moments of beauty from the way a flower was poking through a grate to how the colours of the doors showed individuality, to how passers-by moved and feeling them in a whole new way. Very moving.
Jane Okondo Organiser of Somatic Movement Gathering 2017 I'm wanting to express some of my gratitude and delight in experiencing your 'soma in the city'. Dancing back towards the studio I am having such a delightful experience of connection to myself, to my environment, to other dancers across the street, to London, and a stranger stops and asks me 'What's Happening?' with genuine curiosity and I don't know what is happening but I know it feels good like nothing else and just answer "What's happening?? What's Happening???!!!" and she smiles at me as I dance on... Gully Participant at Somatic Movement Gathering 2017 Thank you very much for your lovely workshop yesterday. All the students got a lot out of it..
Director Humanities and Arts Research Centre Royal Holloway, University of London Your audio was constantly reminding me that I could feel good in an urban landscape Richard It felt like being in a dance piece or an art piece or something that was really interesting - it was like shifting the experience of being in a shopping centre into a piece of dance almost but without making any obvious dancey movements.. Tara It was a very moving experience and one of the things I noticed was because I was more in the present moment there was more of a sense of flow of movement into movement… The whole thing just made everything much more dynamic which was exhilarating really, that’s exhilarating.. Peter Because of listening to you I felt like I had complete permission and safety to be in that space - I felt I could trust myself to be there in an unusual and unfamiliar way which is being fully there rather than closing down to enter a space.. I could then go and actually physically move in spontaneous ways The whole experience feels very fertile, and increases my self awareness, and awareness of the environment. Lisa |
